Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and YOUR BUSINESS NAME ("we", "us") for the Motion Studio desktop app, its license and this website. By buying or using Motion Studio you accept them.

1. Your license

When you pay, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime license to install and use the version of Motion Studio you bought, together with its bug-fix and stability updates, on one computer at a time that you own or control. "Lifetime" means the license does not expire and does not depend on a subscription with us. It covers the features available when you buy; it does not include new features released later.

You may not resell, share, rent or publish your license key, or use one license for a team. Contact us for team licenses.

2. What you need separately

Motion Studio uses Claude Code with your own Claude account (Claude Pro or Max plan, or an Anthropic API key). That account is a separate agreement between you and Anthropic, PBC, and its usage limits and charges are not part of your purchase. Motion Studio is not made, sponsored or endorsed by Anthropic.

3. Your films

The scripts you write and the films Motion Studio makes for you belong to you. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for the content of your scripts and for having the rights to any names, brands or material you include.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, decrypt, extract or redistribute the app's styles, guides, prompts or other built-in material, except where the law allows it.
• Do not use Motion Studio to make content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or breaks Anthropic's usage policies.
• Do not try to bypass the license check.

We may disable a license that is shared publicly, bought with a fraudulent payment, or used in breach of these terms.

5. Updates and new features

Bug fixes and stability updates for the version you bought are free, for as long as we offer the product. New features, new style packs and new major versions may be sold as paid upgrades. Upgrading is optional; the version you bought keeps working.

7. No warranty

Motion Studio is provided "as is". Results depend on your script, your computer and Claude, and we do not guarantee that every film will be free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the city of our registered address have exclusive jurisdiction.
